We visited Dover Castle on the 24th of November. We arrived around 11am and there were winds of
70mph gusting in off the English Channel. It was dark and the sea glistened in the cold air. We did the
battlement walk and then headed in to the cafe for coffee and cake to warm us up.

The views out to sea are amazing and should not be missed. The work that went on here in WW2 is
documented and the secret war time tunnels are amazing. We will visit again before christmas.
