Herne Bay sits proudly on the North Kent coast looking out across the North Sea. The town has an interesting history and a museum that boasts a wide range of things to see plus much more.

The clean beaches of Herne Bay have the European Blue Flag award and the Sea Side award. There is also a lot to do in Herne Bay such as sea fishing, going to a show or enjoying a cappuccino in one of the many fashionable café/bistros and pubs. Its very popular to walk along the seafront and take in some healthy sea air.

There are many pubs and guest houses and for those visiting on a longer stay it has all the facilities you would expect a modern sea side town to boast. Herne Bay also has a golf club and many other leisure facilities.

You can be sure to have lots of fun at The Herne Bay Festival
from Saturday 18th to Sunday 26th August 2007.There are
town and seafront based events that all the family will
enjoy such as live music, children's workshops, talent
competitions and Firework displays. Most of these events
are free. Also in August there is the Herne Bay Carnival on the
11th of the month.
